I am 37 years old and have been plagued with melasma (brown spots) on my cheeks for many years. I had tried prescription products and over the counter products but nothing helped. One day I forgot my sunscreen and was outdoors in the hot sun for four hours. I thought surely my melasma would return but it didn't.
